Meet the Founder

Hi, I’m Shaynah, the founder of Symbio Farms. I’ve always believed that the future of food isn’t in massive fields—it’s in our neighborhoods, our yards, even our patios. With a background in business strategy and critical thinking, I wanted to merge smart technology with regenerative farming to create something entirely new: a farming system that works with nature, not against it—and makes self-sufficiency realistic for everyday people.

Symbio started in my own backyard, where I experimented with mushrooms, aeroponic towers, composting, and raising quail. Over time, these systems evolved into a fully integrated, low-maintenance ecosystem powered by waste, sun, and smart sensors. Now, my goal is to share this model with others and help create a movement—a network of neighborhood farms that grow food sustainably, affordably, and beautifully.
